Learning in the first years of life has its foundation in social-emotional experiences. Social pressures encourage rushing these experiences for young children to be ready for school, yet slowing down and practicing current skills is what leads to mastery and growth.  This training will support early childhood professionals in understanding young children’s capacity for relationships as the perfect context for all learning.  Participants will also recognize social-emotional development as the heart of school readiness and explore the connection between feeling and thinking that drives early learning.
