Milk & Cookies: Teaching Children About Food, Nutrition, and Farming
September 15, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Young children are exploring their world. What better way to help do so than through the food they eat? This workshop will explore engaging, age-appropriate activities and resources you can use to connect children to their food. Where does milk come from? How are dairy products made? What does farming have to do with milk and cookies? Participants will experience hands-on (and tasty!) activities they can in turn use with the children in their care, explore sources for activity ideas, and more. Come for the refreshments and door prizes, stay for the great ideas!
