Becoming a Child Care Provider at Home or
in a Child Care Center or Preschool Setting

• 4-C has support and information available for those planning to offer child care in their home or interested in opening a child care center.
• "How to Start a Successful Family Child Care Business” group workshops are offered to address the issues of starting a child care business. A free binder of information is given to all participants.
• Program licensing is offered by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) when it is desired or necessary for child care centers and private homes.
